How it all Started

It all begins with an idea. Heck it may not even be perfect, but it’s all you have and that should be more than enough to do whatever it is you want to. Now, if I have a flaw it’s that perfection kills. Especially in the beginning stages of your venture and to be completely honest your version of perfection is the exact opposite of reality. Meaning it’s nowhere near perfect at all.

Yet, when I came up with the idea for EchoVibe it came totally by surprise. I had actually wanted to go in a totally different direction. I wanted to help small businesses in marketing. More specifically advertisement and social media. It was something I was ramping towards for slightly over a year by the point of this post.

Starting my studio came about when a good friend came to me about an idea he had with another friend to start a podcast for themselves. This was an area he was unsure of as far as what they needed to start- equipment and such. So, we walked everything down and I went through the process thoroughly and he turns to me and says, “We are going to need a third person aren’t we?”

That was the very moment it hit me that this was what I was meant to do. I already had all the equipment for a professional studio so why the heck not. I already knew more than the basics for audio and video. So, why not? Am I ready? Is this something I can do? The answer is easy and it’s not. The answer is always no and the answer is always yes.

In the end, it’s scary because this is new and there will always be more to learn. More that you don’t know. All of which through time you will. Through the good and the bad and a ton of unlucky moments as well as some lucky ones. The only real way you’ll know is if you do because if you don’t you never will.
